During my first experience using Etsy to sell my digital product, I feel so overwhelmed and nervous. Maybe it is because I never start selling any digital product in the marketplace. Well yeah, here I am talking about my experience with Etsy. In Etsy, everything is there. What you need to do is to get an idea of what you wanted to sell. Believe me, once you are ready, it will be fun.
This post may contain affiliate links which i will receive a commission if you purchase via link on the below. Thank you.
Step 1: Register the account
All you need to do is register the Etsy account. I choose to not register it first because I am not sure where to start. I make research and try to get the idea by reading Etsy’s community article. However, if you are confirmed about what you are doing, then you are welcome to start. Choose a good name for your shop, register the email address and password. Do not forget to set up the billing and your address. once you have done, you may start to upload the products.
Step 2: Choose Product
You can choose what product you want to sell whether it is physical products or digital printable products. You may use Adobe Illustrator or Canva to create what desire design you want. Example digital printable product in Etsy.
Step 3: Upload image product
The crucial part is here because you are not sure of the sizes of the images that fit the listing column. Recommended size is 800×1000 pixel size. Please make sure the images are not blurry and clear so that the shopper will be able to see what are you selling.
Step 4: Description and tag
The description is not the place where you can simply put the title of the product. Describe it briefly so that the shopper understands how to use it, how to download the link if you sell digital products, and so on. Tags the item with the simple keyword and this is to make your item show up in Etsy search.
Step 5: Publish listing product
After you have done the steps above, please remember to share them with your friends and your social media. the more traffic you get, the more items sold. Good Luck!
